Is It The Way.......

I'm sitting here at my desk just thinking and Jill Scott pops in my head. I'm just thinking about how greatful I should be. I'm able to come to work. Some people don't even have that option. I get to go home at a decent hour. Some people have to work double shifts to make ends meet. If I wanna go shopping, just hit up the mall. Some have little or nothing to wear, while im sitting worrying about wearing the same pants 2xs that week. Whenever I need a reminder, your always there to uplift my spirits. You give me sense and a piece of mind. Is it the way you love me.....

I have a lot on my mind right now. I felt like expressing it thru my writings. Enjoy your day people.

Until next time...............

Yes i am thankful each and everyday for the things i can do for my family, but in the same breath i don't feel as if i should settle, i can complain and make some changes without feeling guilty.

(i'm having a bad work day already, my comment had nothing to do with your post!) lmao!

everyone is in an expressing mood, I dont understand. This sucks. I have so much to blog about, and I just can't.

Sometimes when the mind wanders, it isn't always a bad thing. We have to be thankful/grateful for what we have. We must be mindufl that there may be someone worse off than we are.

There were times when I'd ask my grandfather "how are you today" and he'd say "I'm doing. That's better than not". LMAO! I never understood until I got older.

Is it the way you're being loved? Could be. Reading this made me think back to the song by Luther Vandross - The Power of Love

Being thankful and mindful of all that we've been blessed with helps us to realize how good we acutally have it. Even though it's not as good as we may want, it's still better than it could.

The best thing I've ever learned in my life was to be grateful and appreciative of what I have, because it can all be gone tomorrow. Very rarely do I complain about anything now. It's a wonderful thing when you realize how blessed you really are!

On my way to work yesterday, I walked past a sleeping homeless man and thought the exact same thing. As much as I complain and bitch and moan about shit that goes on in my life, it could always be worse.

I was laid-off from my job and out of work for 6-weeks and was still able to pay my bills and was able to maintain my lifestyle. Some folks made a couple of calls for me, got me some interviews and BAM! I'm gainfully employed again. I'm really grateful for that. Not everyone can do that.

Take a moment and just say "thank you." Absolutely right there is someone that wish they were in your shoes. Be grateful!

Hey, this is in response to your most resent post. Yeah, I came back the next day and still no update. What's up with that?
